Armored1’s bullet-resistant backpack/briefcase insert is designed to be lightweight while capable of stopping most common rounds, including 9mm, .22, .38, many .45 ACP (grain-dependent), and .357 Magnum rounds, all while weighing only 1.15 lbs so that your child isn’t unnecessarily burdened by the extra protection. 

Unfortunately, not all rounds can be stopped (unless we made the unit VERY thick and heavy).

The insert measures 16″ x10″ x 0.25″ and weighs 1.15 pounds. The unit is coated with automotive poly-rubber blend to protect from all weather conditions and rigors of daily life.
